GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC, ADITYAPUR

Admission procedure is carried out by an open advertisement made by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board(JCECEB), Ranchi which invites application, conducts written test at different centers in the state and subsequently arranges counseling works of the selected candidates on merit basis to get admission in different Government Polytechnics / Mining Institutes / Other approved private polytechnics of the state. Reservation policy of the Jharkhand Government is strictly maintained in this selection process. Beside this 1 seat in each discipline is also reserved for the ward of defense personal.

• Original Admit Card issued by JCECEB
• Provisional Seat Allotment Letter issued by JCECEB
• Six Copies of Recent Photograph
• Admit Card, Marks Sheet, Original / Provisional Certificate of 10th or equivalent Examination.
• Admit Card, Marks Sheet, Original / Provisional Certificate of 12th or equivalent Examination. (For Lateral Entry Candidate Only)
• Local Resident Certificate issued by C.O. / S.D.O. / D.C. of Jharkhand State in prescribed format.
• Caste Certificate issued by C.O. / S.D.O. / D.C. of Jharkhand State in prescribed format. (If Applicable)
• Income Certificate issued by C.O. / S.D.O. / D.C. of Jharkhand State in prescribed format. (If Applicable)
• School / College Leaving Certificate
• Medical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner.
• Physically Challenged Certificate (For PH Candidate Only) issued by the Medical Suprintendent / CMO / Head of Hospital.
• Certificate regarding SMQ Quota Seat (If Applicable)
• Affidavit (UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institution, 2009) by the Parent/Guardian.
• Affidavit (UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institution, 2009) by the Student.
• Aadhar Card or any Other Identity Card.
• Affidavit of Gaping - If Gaping period is more than one year after passing 10th, 12th or other (If Applicable)
• Two Set of Self Attested Xerox Copies of All Certificates / Documents.

Examination

The examination and certification of the selected and admitted candidates are done by Jharkhand University of Technology(JUT), Ranchi, Jharkhand. At present, semester system. Minimum 75% attendance of the students is necessary for appearing at their Board Examinations conducted by Jharkhand University of Technology(JUT), Ranchi, Jharkhand.
